Yes, another challenge at Cooking with Cricut!! This week the challenge is 3 Flowers and Purple

This was a fun challenge, as l LOVE the colour purple! I chose purple and green together, always a good combo. This is a photo of myself in 2002 with my Grandpop and Grandma.

I used the following cricut cartridges:
Plantin Schoolbook (glamour)
Serenade (Bird in Flight)

I used lace as well as stitching, the stem of the plant which the flowers and leaves sit apon is stitched with embroidery thread.

If you have a cutting machine and are looking for a challenge or something outside the square, check out Cooking with Cricut blog!

Also entered at DYSU - Purple Challenge
and Getting Cricky with K Andrew - Sew Fabulous Challenge

Thank you everyone!

Melin - Thank you so much for letting me participate, its great to see so many cricut lovers, not to mention ideas to use for different cartridges - especially ones l don't have, it gives me an opportunity to see what can be created, so l can go out and purchase if l like what l see! Its also good to use my cricut more, and create a project every week that l can keep in my albums!

What a wonderful layout! It's such a treasure to have a photo of you with your grandparents and you've done such a lovely job designing the page to focus on the photo itself. The bird looks fantastic! I love the way you've done her wing!
Thanks so much for taking part in the Sew Fabulous challenge at Getting Cricky!
